What You’ll Catch

Star Citizen runs, planning sessions, gaming logistics, build talk, tech tangents, and community hangouts.

Community Rule

Bring curiosity, good comms, and a willingness to learn. No drama. Keep the crew sharp.

Clip-Worthy Moments

Good saves, bad landings, smart recoveries, weird bugs, and engineering moments.

Origin Story

Built by curiosity, fixed with a screwdriver

The Cr0sshairs identity started where a lot of good tech stories start: old PCs, weird problems, LAN-party energy, and the decision to learn instead of quit.

Backstory

From first builds to full systems

Cr0sshairs is my public command center: part stream hub, part workshop notebook, part field guide, part portfolio. I grew up around computers, hands-on fixes, late-night troubleshooting, and the kind of problems that teach you more than any manual.

These days, that same energy shows up in immersive training systems, Linux servers, 3D printing, drone ops, gaming logistics, and the occasional late-night stream.

Learn the system Take things apart mentally before trying to force a fix.
Fix the problem Use practical steps, clear testing, and enough patience to avoid making it worse.
Document the path Turn hard-earned lessons into notes, checklists, and repeatable workflows.
Channel Attitude

“Nice shot kid, you can’t hit the broad side of a planet.”

A little sarcasm, a little sci-fi, a little crew banter — then back to getting better, building smarter, and bringing the whole operation home.

If it breaks, learn it. If it works, improve it. If it matters, document it.

Tips Database

Field notes worth keeping

A searchable starter database for hobby tips.

Linux

When the terminal breaks, try another terminal first

Open an alternate terminal, confirm the shell still works, then repair the default app instead of assuming the whole system is broken.

Servers

Label disks before changing partitions

Before resizing, mounting, or migrating storage, write down device names, UUIDs, mount points, and what data lives where.

3D Printing

Calibrate in small steps

Change one variable at a time: bed level, Z offset, flow, temperature, or retraction.

Drones

Pre-flight is part of the flight

Check props, battery, firmware warnings, GPS lock, wind, line of sight, and landing zone before launch.

Lapidary

Patience beats pressure

Use light, consistent touch. Forcing the stone can heat it, chip facets, or distort meet points.

Gaming

Good logistics wins quiet victories

Track cargo, route risk, fuel, roles, and extraction timing. A clean operation often looks boring until the payout lands.
